You can pronounce Wei like “way”.

I’m so happy that you’re here and want to learn more about me! I have three things that I’d like to share with you:

1. Lived 4 places in 5 years - Taiwan, Austin, New York, California

I grew up in Taiwan 🇹🇼, a beautiful island on the Pacific Ocean. When I studied information management for my bachelor’s degree, I fell in love with bridging business and human needs with technology. I had experience in frontend development and spent 1 year at Microsoft as an intern to promote and improve the experience for student developers. After that, I decided to learn UX and pursue a master’s degree at UT Austin in 2018. 🤘🏽

After becoming a UX designer, I first interned at Visual BI Solutions to explore B2B data visualization tools, then moved to New York to work for SAP. I’m currently living in Bay Area, California.

I did yoga with baby goats in Half Moon Bay, California.

2. Design at SAP for 4 years

I've designed various B2B digital experiences for the SAP Store, SAP marketing team, and SAP.com.

Currently, I’m the senior UX designer on the journey experience strategy team to design multiple end-to-end marketing customer digital experiences, including the product marketing of SAP solution portfolios like sustainability, customer experience (CX/CRM), industry, and the web experiences of some corporate strategies like Trust Center and SAP Corporate Design.

If you ask me, what is design, I’d say designing is solving problems and making people’s lives easier and happier.

3. Love coffee chats, cats, and (hot)yoga.

Although people work remotely nowadays, I like to connect with other designers through coffee chats and communities. I’ve been a design mentor at UX East Meets West.

When I’m not working, I cook, spend quality time with my loved ones including my cat, Grace, and practice hot yoga every week.

Grace loves to work with me.
