Digital Net New checkout is the experience when a user purchases a software solution subscription online. I drive the redesign of the end-to-end flow and the configuration.

Overview

Role

I was the lead designer for the end-to-end experience and worked closely with another designer, collaborated with business stakeholders, UX researcher, and product owners from redesign to implementation.

Problem

For users who would like to purchase software online, anyone without an account can configure the software, see total price, and check out on the same long page. It doesn't fit the business goal to understand the user’s contract situation and fit the product hierarchy in the future.

Solution

I created the new configurator as a separate page with the new design system components.

Context

What is SAP Store?

Most of the time, customers can purchase software solutions from the sales team. From market research, customers actually would like to purchase some smaller deals without contacting anyone, and SAP Store was designed to meet that needs. There are 130+ software subscriptions that provide a self-service experience for users to purchase online.
